Fielding Garr Ranch

Fielding Garr Ranch was full of history and interesting facts. Fielding Garr established the ranch in 1848 and it was continually inhabited until 1981 when it became part of a state park. The ranch was home to one of the first mechanized sheep operations in the western United States.
Fielding Garr had been assigned by the Mormon Church to establish the ranch. The Mormon Church operated the ranch until the mid-1870's, the ranch supported the Perpetual Emigration fund, which helped Mormon Church members come from Europe.

I love history, it's so fascinating to me. I really enjoyed the ranch and seeing all the things that were still there, especially the house. It was just so neat to be there.
