Sunday

I love Sundays! I love after church just coming home and relaxing and spending time together as a family. I think Sunday is the day that I miss Dale the most.
My kids decided to wear pajamas, we watched Veggie Tales and just snuggled.
I love Sunday.

I decided to just put Ayden in preschool instead of teaching him myself. I am so glad that I did because he loves it!

No Idea

I have four children and I still have no idea what I am doing. I screw up at least once a day (that's a good day).  You would think that I would have some clue by now about being a good mom and about what works and what doesn't work. But every child is unique and different and I am still trying to figure things out. Good thing children are so resilient especially mine.  My mom would always say "do what I say, not what I do". So true.  I say "don't yell" but in the next second I yell, I say "don't fight" but then I sit and argue with my 7 year old. Pretty ridiculous I know. This being a mom stuff is really hard.

Walking in my shoes

My girls love to wear my shoes, this is a favorite pair that they always put on. It took me back to when I was a little girl and I would wear my mom's shoes. Those were the days.

Gratitude

I just have to say that I am so grateful for my freedom and for the men and women that continually fight for that freedom. Who have given their lives, time and sacrificed so much for us. I don't have the words to fully express my gratitude. And the words "thank you" just don't seem like enough. But it is all I have. So thank you, from my heart.

Family Time

Dale came home this weekend, he had to leave again Monday but we had fun spending time together as a family while he was home. The kids and I have missed him very much and it was so nice to have him here. We played soccer in the back yard, played at the park and had our family pictures taken!

My friend Lyndee Lloyd who is a great photographer, took our pictures Saturday. We had a great time and the pictures turned out so cute!
