Shakeology has changed my life

I am going to tell you a little bit about me and my story. I have struggled with depression and anxiety my whole life, I have been suicidal. I am not proud of this but I am not ashamed! This has made me stronger and made me the person I am today. After the birth of my fourth baby my depression was the worse that it had ever been add that to a colicky baby and my husband gone for his job. We only saw him every other weekend if that. So here I was with three little kids, a colicky baby and depressed. I stopped taking care of myself, I became an emotional eater and gained a lot of weight. A year later I finally was sick of feeling uncomfortable in my skin and decided to start taking care of me again but nothing I did worked, nothing! And let me tell you I tried everything! I heard about Shakeology from a friend and I figured why not try it, I have tried everything else. I am so glad that I did! I have lost 20 pounds since drinking Shakeology and doing Turbo fire! Not only that but I have energy again, I don't have migraines anymore and the most exciting thing for me is that I am on the lowest dose of my depression/anxiety medicine that I have EVER been on!!!! This is so huge to me! I am so grateful for what Shakeology and Beachbody has done for me! I am excited to keep working on my transformation story!

I did it! I ordered the 21 Day Fix and I am so excited!!!! I am working my transformation story!  For the next 21 days I kept to the portion containers in the diet. For $7 a day for seven days you can lose 10-15lbs.  It has a meal plan, portion control containers, 30 day supply of Shakeology, nutrition plan, and workout DVD's.

I was even more excited when I found out that the 21 Day Fix had SOLD OUT.  That's right, this product was so amazing that Beachbody totally did not anticipate the demand.  I was super psyched to start this program and proudly posted to Facebook when it arrived. It was easier than I thought to get started.  I think a lot of this is my attitude.  A good attitude goes a long way but desire has really helped me during the hard days.

I did it! 21 days later I had lost 10lbs.  I'm not done but this has given me the confidence to keep going and to continue to change myself and my life. I want this for me and I know I can do it.

As you might be able to tell I'm very passionate about Shakeology, its benefits and how it can help you.  This is why I became a coach.  I would love to help you reach your personal goal be it weight loss and health goals.  I would love to have you drop me a personal message and tell me about yourself, what struggles you are going through, and what you are looking for for your future.  Maybe you don't have all of that ready yet but I'd love to hear about it from you. Please contact me on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/amie.l.jensen.  I will be starting a new group to help those that contact me to reach for their goals and achieve success.  It really can happen to you! Come join me and together we can take it on.

Rules for Doing Beachbody Workouts during Pregnancy

There is no doubt that when you are pregnant exercising can greatly impact on you as well as your baby’s health. With regular workouts and proper nutrition, pregnant women take cares of their bodies by preparing it for labor and childbirth.

Exercising During Pregnancy

First, before you take on vigorous exercising, consult your doctor or OBGYN early on. They will help to adjust your exercising plans according to levels of pre-pregnancy fitness.
Pregnancy comes with weight gain. 40 pounds is a normal figure, but if a women ends up gaining more than this she may have difficult time delivering her baby, take on the chances to develop diabetes, and will find it hard to take the weight off once the baby arrives.
There are a number of exercises, which pregnant women can safely do. Swimming, aerobics, yoga, walking, Pilates, and cycling are some of the few. Working out at home is another convenient method through which to-be moms can add daily exercises in their routines.
Beachbody fitness workouts are designed to fit the requirements of people who lack leisure time or want to workout at home. Take on in-home Beachbody programs during your pregnancy to attain fitness and improve health.
1 Rules for Doing Beachbody Workouts during Pregnancy

Rules To Keep Pregnancy Safe With Beachbody Workouts:

Usually your doctor will guide you to push yourself in a workout according to your heart rate. For those women who have been athletic, taking on higher intensity workouts would not be an issue. However, you need to be more limited on certain movements, as your pregnancy progresses.
Here are some rules for you, if you want to include Beachbody program safely in your routines and augment your fitness before your delivery date:

Warming Up Before the Workouts:

Warming up sessions are most important when you are starting your Beachbody fitness workouts. This time will help to prepare your muscles and joints, and build up your heart rate slowly. This is great way to help your body adapt with the program instantly. Start with a little stretching to get your belly muscles flexible.
Warm ups will also help to relieve you of the post-workout muscle tensions and the possibility of backaches.

Choosing Your Fitness Program Wisely:

Before you plan your exercise routines, keep in mind that your focus is not on too many fitness gains. Just easy to do routines can help you build a better body for your condition. Start by exercising 10 minutes at a time or so, and increase the pace steadily.
Here are a few safe exercises to consider at home with Beachbody during your pregnancy:

Low-Impact Fitness DVDs:

10 minute Trainer, Power 90, and Tai Cheng, are a few pregnancy favorable workouts that helps to increase strength and energy while helping to reduce the muscle pains naturally.
Make sure that you get proper guidance from your Team Beachbody Coach to perform the workouts correctly, according to personal physical attributes.

Yoga and Stretching Routines:

Body Gospel workout and Yoga Booty Ballet are other two amazing workouts with the fusion of yoga, stretching, Pilates, and dancing. These will help your body to relax and revive from all the pregnancy stress.

Noticing the Warning Signs:

Last but not the least; pregnant women have to be very careful of their exercising routines. If you have shortness of breath before you exercise, do not over exert yourself and stop immediately.
A good rule of thumb: Ease your routines if you do not feel comfortable with the pace of the workout.

I have been having a really rough couple of weeks, no one reason in particular. It's just been rough. I think I care too much sometimes and I get hurt too easily.

Yesterday was hard, I spent time on pinterest pinning quotes that fit my grumpy mood and whined and griped to my hubby and I was going to emotionally purge here but then I realized that I can't control anything but how I let myself react and feel. I tend to forget that and let outside things affect me more than I should.

Last night as we were sitting as a family reading scriptures and having our song and prayers. And  I had all four of my children snuggling and cuddling with me I realized that I am so loved, needed and blessed. I had everything that I needed right there with me and nothing else really mattered.

I have the gospel, a Savior that never gives up on me, a husband that supports and loves me unconditionally, four beautiful, amazing children that need me and a strong good family.

Do I struggle every day? Yes. Do I feel inadequate? Yes. Do I let my depression and anxiety get the best of me some days? YES! But I know that I am not alone. That tomorrow is another day, another chance to become the mother, wife, sister and friend that I want to be. Tomorrow is another chance to change.

Happy Birthday Makayla!

February 3rd my baby turned two! I can't believe it! It makes me sad that my baby is growing up, it really does go by way too fast. It is fun to see their personality and who they are becoming but it still makes me sad to see my little babies growing up, especially Makayla because she is our last.
She is so much fun and she really is funny, she loves to make people laugh. She is so sweet and loving. She completes our family.

Happy Birthday Makayla Marie!

Grandma Lundholm

Things have been really crazy and busy. We packed up and moved our house in a weekend, moved things into our new place and drove up to Idaho all in two days.... We planned to have more time to move in and get situated before going to Idaho for Christmas but my dear sweet grandma passed away. It's so sad but good. She isn't suffering anymore and she got to have Christmas in heaven. What could be any better than that? My poor dad has lost both of his parents now... I can't even imagine losing my parents. My grandma was one of the sweetest people I ever knew, she was so kind, soft spoken and a peace maker. I never heard her raise her voice ever, or say anything unkind, she never swore, argued or made anyone feel bad. I have the best memories of her and I love and miss her everyday.
The new place, I am enjoying the room and extra space that was much needed. The kids are loving the new school and making new friends. Dale is enjoying the short drive to work and I am missing my friends....
The best part about Christmas was getting to skype with my sister Amanda who is on a mission! It was the best thing ever! I had missed seeing her beautiful smile and hearing her laugh! She is so amazing and strong! And we got to see Bucky! (Amanda's friend who just got back from his mission) We absolutely love him and are keeping him apart of our family forever!!!!!
So that's whats new and been going on. I hope 2013 will be the best year ever for everyone!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

A little update, we sold our house which is kinda sad but also exciting! We had outgrown our cute three bedroom house (three girls in a large bedroom upstairs just wasn't working out anymore). We had the opportunity to buy our dream house in Centerville and we were so excited but sadly we didn't add in mortgage insurance to the mix so we wouldn't be left with much money at the end of the month. I wanted it to work but Dale was very stressed about it and that wasn't worth it to me so someday.... I have to admit that I was so disappointed and I cried and felt extremely sorry for myself for a day and then I realized that I am so blessed. I have 4 beautiful, amazing children, a husband who loves me despite my many faults and  very loving and supportive family and friends. So we found a cute 5 bedroom 2 bath house in Layton! We love it and it fits our family perfectly. It has a nice back yard and fun play set for the kids and the neighbors seem awesome! The Lord really does look out for us it may not be in the way that we want it, but in the way that's best for us.

I am going to be busy packing and moving and then going to Idaho for Christmas! So this is going to be my last post until after the new year! So Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
