One year ago...

I can't believe that one year ago (Feb 3rd) Makayla Marie was born! It doesn't feel like a whole year has passed yet, that my baby, our last baby is now one. She is such a sweetheart, always has a smile and laughing. She is funny, she is always making me laugh. And she is so much fun! I have mixed feelings about her turning one. On one hand I am sad to see her growing up, changing and becoming more independent just because she is my last and I won't get to experience having a little newborn again. Sigh.... that makes me sad. But then again it's so exciting to see her changing and growing. Learning to crawl, walk and talk. She is getting so big. Why does time have to go by so fast? I have learned though to enjoy the simple little things and just take it one day at a time, because yesterday won't happen again and tomorrow is coming fast.
